Just pondering really. I find it easy to make friends and keep them around. I have a wide circle of friends, including half a dozen very close friends. I'm good at small talk, reasonably attractive and people generally like me.
So why do I have such problems forming romantic relationships? Thinking logically, the 'skill set' I use to attract and keep friends should be reasonably transferable to romantic and sexual relationships - but it doesn't seem to be! I guess it's partly due to the fact that I'm more picky about people I want to sleep with vs people I want to have a pint with but even so.... Just musing out loud really. Is anyone else like this?
