Leaving partner advice?

Hey..so I was just wondering
Has any one left there partner without being independent? ( i.e. not working, driving etc )
how did you do it knowing you would be able to keep a house and stuff. what type of help did you get if any. Did you have any DC at the time??

I would say get you MN ducks in a row first, as in doing all those things before you leave.

Get some legal advice, some benefits advice, see what you are entitled to. CAB give free advice.
Women's Aid will give practical advice about separating if the relationship is abusive.
