Hi, my boyfriend and I are going through a breakup. He's my first love and I'm his and we've been together for almost 9 months. He's ending it with me for many reasons. He feels he's too young for such a committed relationship given that we talked about doing 2-3 years long distance because I graduate in one year but he graduates in 3. He also feels he can't give me what I want given that his free time is limited and getting even smaller with school and sports. I truly love him and he feels the same. My question is is do you think we will be able to get back together when the time is right (which would be in about 3 years) assuming we still feel the same? And does anyone have any stories of getting back with their first love after years apart?
