I have been single for 6 years like 6 WHOLE years!
I've tried dating sites, blind dates and been asked out on facebook and absolutely nobody NOBODY wants to comit!
I am kind, chilled, friendly, I have a good outlook on life, a job, a home, and I try to make myself look as 'lovely ' as possible I'm a size 14 with lots of unwanted flaws but who hasn't? !
What am I doing wrong?
I am lonely now and soon to be 39 I think it's my time! Isn't it my time?
I'm sooooo coming across as desperate. I'm really not I just want to be wined and dined. Just someone to make me a cup of tea? Ask how my day was?
My new best friend is 🍷and a ridiculously early night out of pure bordom 😕

Oneorthebloodyother - it's a long time right? The first couple of years were bonkers as life changed so much. I went back to school, redecorated and got a new job. Then tried POF oh my goodness 🙈 then thought hmm when the time is right.... 6 years later?! I have done everything to 'the book' I'm happy, content, I see friends and I try to keep fit (and eat cake) and I'm bored with my whole Bridget Jones routine most Friday evenings.
Oh dear....

Ps. I have a new match on tinder oh great only the one hundred and tenth in the last 8 months.....which will lead to 30% of 'hello how are you'

I'm exactly the same, although I'm eating a lot more cake rather than keeping fit .

I just don't get out enough to meet anyone anywhere,
I go from home to dcs school work then back again.
A friend of mines mum met her partner after he delivered a parcel to her house then went back the next day and asked her out they've been together 10 years.
So I'm going to order some new shoes and hope for the best 😂

Separated 4 yrs ago. A cluple of non serious short term things, bit nothing more. I instigated both of those and ended them both too.

Thing is, I don't have a huge criteria:

Single
Intelligent
Educated
Kind

100% of the men who show any interest in me fall at the first hurdle!

I go out, I meet men, the rare single man I meet just isn't interested!
