Hi,

A very close and dear friend is a recovering alcoholic. How can I help her? I don't know what to say, I'm afraid of saying he wrong hi fm and hurting her but really want to help.

What "not" to say would also be very helpful.

Thank you.

I would keep it simple, tell her you are there for her if she needs you, be a listening ear, don't judge her if she falls off the wagon and tell her if she wants to talk you are there for her I guess
