I recently purchased a copy of Lundy Bancroft's best selling book on abusive men. My father was abusive and I wanted to understand him a little better. The book is always recommended by wise MNetters when anyone is struggling with an abusive relationship of any kind whether its domestic violence, coercive control, emotional abuse, etc.
I've finished with the book and would like to offer it to a Mumsnetter who feels they would benefit from it.
Totally free of charge. If you want to read it but are concerned about your DP/DH finding it I can send it to any UK address that works for you and in any guise (in a cardboard box, wrapped in plain brown paper, whatever).
I'd really like it to go to someone who doesn't feel like they can, for whatever reason, just pick up a copy at a bookstore or on Amazon.
My only request is that you pass it on to another woman who needs it when you've got what you need from it (this can be months or years down the line - whenever you feel ready).
