Ok can people please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this totally beyond stupid! My ex has just become manager of a store just TOLD me that if he has the kids any day, and he gets phones saying someone's not turned up. Even if I'm at work I HAVE to come back immediately and get them so he can go to work.. May I add he doesn't even get paid overtime and has rearranged his 'days' with the kids on numerous occasions. X

He's talking bollocks. Is he my ex too? Sounds similar... Wink

Akire · 07/05/2016 00:06

Tell him that's fine, you will give up your job to be on his beck and call. Name your price!

VimFuego101 · 07/05/2016 00:12

No, he needs to arrange emergency childcare.

Longdistance · 07/05/2016 00:19

Bollocks!

His problem...

DioneTheDiabolist · 07/05/2016 00:22

If he needs childcare on his days, it's up to him to arrange it. You are not his on call babysitter OP.

sheriwibli · 07/05/2016 00:24

Thank you so much! I hope you don't mind if I show him this?! Because I am honestly so shocked by his attitude of no matter where I am I should come! Who does he think k am! X

PM'd you.

DoreenLethal · 07/05/2016 15:12

Have you tried telling him that you are not married any more and he does not run your diary - so when he has the kids, they are his responsibility until he return then at the pre-planned time.

AKA fuck off you twat.

QuiteLikely5 · 07/05/2016 15:15

He should not have taken the job if he did not have adequate childcare cover.

Some fathers threat their children as an option instead of a priority- he sounds like this

magoria · 07/05/2016 15:16

Basically your job want you there to do your job.

They won't give a shit that he cannot organise his job/time with the DC and will not be interested.

You just have to grit your teeth and say 'sorry can't am at work, bye' then leave him to it.

Bloody idiot.

AyeAmarok · 07/05/2016 15:27

He needs to organise childcare around his work commitments. His children, his problem to solve. Just like you'd have to do when they're with you.

You'd ask ex of he was free and could help, he'd say no, then you'd have to try family or friends or a professional. If you couldn't get someone you'd have to take emergency parental leave (unpaid).

Same applies to him. It's not different just because he has a penis rather than vagina.

Thank you ladies I'm so annoyed at he logic and made it perfectly clear that is not happening at all.

I'm sure he lives in a dream land! X
