Cheating Ex Facebook Request

My ex bf cheated on me last year after a 9 year relationship and cut all contact with me. It has taken me 6 months to come to terms with what happened and this week I have been making plans to move forwards. I checked Facebook earlier today, I found a friend request from cheating ex. I don't have feelings for him anymore and saw him as weak and pathetic. I did not accept the request and marked it as spam so he can't send me anymore requests. Please assure me that I did the right thing.

I didn't have a nose around on his page, I was just too at his brass neck.

I'd decline the request and block him.

Oh and I was very as well. I've since told my dbro about it and he said that I have never needed ex bf and never will. Guess he's right
