I'm bored!

I love my husband dearly and couldn't imagine being with anyone else. Plus his a great father! The only trouble is I'm bored! Our sex life isn't great, I'm once day girl his more like once a month!
We don't go out together, ever! I like going to pubs and bars still, not all the time but every now and then. He "can't be bothered"
He is 10 years older then me and doesn't really have much in common with my friends husbands so often doesn't come out if we all get together, leaving me to make his excuses.
He doesn't make the effort if I go out with my siblings, who he does get on with.
His friends all live the other side of the country and his Made no effort to make friends where we live.
Our (my) social life is totally separate and I hate it! It's silly because we love the same sort of place and like the same music!
I'm worried the longer it goes on the more it will push us apart!

You are right, it will push you apart - talk to him about it. I'm the boring one in our relationship but I make the effort because I love DH and it's nice that he wants to have fun with me

I think you need to speak to him about it. He needs to make more of an effort & the once a month sex thing needs addressing, It'll drive you mad eventually. Sex is the only difference between friendship & romantic attraction

I do try and talk to him but he always laughs it off and makes it into a big joke! His like that! I might make dinner plans for just us soon and try and talk to him while we are out having fun and try and make him see my point.

If you want it to change you need to cut through his defence of laughter and tell him how unhappy it's making you

It's definitely important to have things in common and do things as a couple. It's very sad he doesn't mix with your friends. Is he shy or just being rude?? It would make me annoyed if my dh did that.

His just lazy! He isn't to bad when it's just me and him it's more if I want to go out as a group.
