to those who were offended by yesterday's question about domestic abuse. It was a genuine request fro help as I have recently suffered chronic depression as a result of an oppressive relationship

As I haven't read the thread I'm not offended by the question.

Is the oppressive relationship continuing and are you receiving medication/therapy for depression?

In any event I suggest you find your nearest Women's Aid service here www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-abuse-directory/ and enrol on the Freedom Programme and also read 'Why Does He Do That' by Lundy Bancroft.

I doubt anyone on here would be offended by a question about domestic abuse. It's very hard to get one's head around, a complex subject.

Sorry to hear you're going through it at the mo. I do hope you get out from the 'oppressive' relationship Flowers
