Just that really, didn't realise how hard a break up is, when I first met h it was like a romantic out of the films type and now ffs what a life

It's an old adage but, time really is the best healer. I don't think any kind words from anyone truly sink in at the moment, as you're in fog but, things WILL get better. There will be great times ahead

I am nearly 3 months down the break up road, and while it was horrifically painful at the start, as time has gone on it does get easier.
Yes there are still bad days, yes I do still miss him and think if only, but I know I have done the right thing and the positives are starting to outweigh the negatives.
Keeping busy is the key, and if you start to look back with rose tinted spex have a long hard think about the reasons you split.

If he's already sleeping with someone else, you definitely don't need him back in your life. Stay strong. No contact. It will be painful but just do it, you've already done the most difficult part, do t give up now. You'll find someone else. It WILL be ok.

If you have him back you'll only be exchanging the misery you feel now for the worse misery of knowing that you're in a relatinship with a man that can't be trusted, which will lead you to agonise over what he may be up to when he's out of your sight and agonise over why he slept with an ow when he is in plain sight.

Why settle for a lying cheating toerag when there's no shortage of honest guys who don't have the morals of an alleycat?

You'll be far better off by keeping busy, telling any thoughts of the scumbag that appear unbidden in your mind to go elsewhere, and letting time take its course.

I'm 5 weeks in and it's not getting any better, it's even dragging up old memories when husband left me ...in 1990!!
