Do you think it possible/likely for a mans (snug fitting) plain rounded wedding band to 'catch' on a womans vagina during intimate sex? I know this sounds bizarre but I just want to canvas opinions. Personally I think it's bollocks.

For starters, no, I've never known anyone to take their rings off first, except maybe one that could potentially really scratch the other person.

I don't know what you do with your rings, but most people keep them on their fingers, not rolling around on the ground in dog poo

But fwiw, I can't see why it would suddenly occur to him, after all this time, that it might 'catch' when it hasn't before. Has your DH removed his wedding band with this flimsy excuse :(

Contact with door handles in public toilets would do it. And I think most people do take them off from time to time.

Yes I am serious but then I take off anything that would scratch my partner including my watch. Actually, I've never thought about this before now but the only man I've slept with who wore a ring is my DH! But no I don't like the idea of it - it's very unhygienic.

Also baffled by Medea's comment. Surely a plain wedding ring that's always on your finger is exactly as clean as your finger is, no more or less.

But to the OP, I think it's just about imaginable but it's vanishingly unlikely.
