Love, Love, Love

This is an idea stolen from Reddit. Share what you love most about your partner.

It's great to get advice on the harder conundrums of love and relationships, rant, complain, and bitch about bad habits (cus it's fun). But I'd love to hear what made you fall in love.

I'll start.

He's a genuinely caring and selfless man. He will always put others first and is the kindest person I know.

My husband is sweet,caring, honest. I know nothing would ever come above me and our children.

My DH is really funny. If he tries to be, he fails miserably. When he's just being himself though, he's a riot.

I'd struggle to pick one but I think it's the way he makes me feel about myself.

He bought me an electric blanket. For when he isn't there. I have a circulatory problem and feel the cold. I've had this issue about 20 years but no one put the marks out enough to help me with it before. It's no benefit to him he's always hot.
I think that was a pivotal moment of us getting really serious.
It sounds so unromantic but it was

He is honest and moral. His integrity is second to none. Though that drives me nuts sometimes. And he is so wonderfully caring and kind and gentle. --He stops short of being perfect though as he is also scatty and a bit forgetful and therefore frequently late - but this is a good thing as otherwise he would be boring . I love him.

He's not romantic at all but he does scrape the ice off my car in the mornings before he goes to work

He says he loves me and shows it , everything he does and says shows consideration . He's also very responsive to my feelings and thoughts. I make sure I make him feel loved and supported too and it feels easy to do that because he's a lovely man.

He's open and honest about his feelings, he's thoughtful, intelligent and we have the same sense of humour and he buys me wine

She is on my side, thinks I am the best thing ever in the universe, but keeps my feet on the ground. She believes in me far more than I do.

Her politics are amazing, her people skills and her ability to make other people feel important and cared for is wonderful. I love to visit her at work or walk through our local town with her, her work has touched many lives.

We are a blended family and she adores my children, the grandchildren are 'ours'. I feel the same about nephews and nieces.

In case you think she needs beatification, she can't see chaos around her, she enters the world of the iPad and disappears, she constantly leaves cups of tea undaunted, she is a mistress of not doing things she does not want to without openly opposing my wishes!

We have been together for nearly 20 years and I still feel a burst of joy when I see her.

Oh bugger that was an essay! Feeling soppy today as DW has been very supportive.

He is kind and very attentive to me. He has lovely arms.

He is hands down the best person I know.

DH is always himself, he never feels the need to put on any kind of macho act. He's quite sensitive and likes a lot of things that are seriously uncool :)

he's the funniest man I have ever met. I love how no matter how much of a bad day he has had he always comes and cuddles me. or if we have ever had a falling out when we go to bed he still cuddles me. he's just my big teddy bear :)
