Separated 2 years. His choice. Turned emotionally abusive to ensure I flipped out so he could blame me.
Told lies, caused trouble and was a nasty selfish arse.
I am just getting there when all over mutual friends Facebook are pics of him and his new GF. He never had DS overnight as he is too busy. He has been an absolute arse - so why am I still heartbroken???

You're too good for him and he doesn't deserve the feelings you have for him. It will pass with time and maybe seeing him with another woman will make it a little bit easier for you to move on. You deserve much better than an arse!
