On a petition for divorce, do husbands ask for financial orders?!?!

I'm assuming he's the petitioner yes?? if so yes absolutely - most if not all of the boxes will be ticked. It basically just forms part of the preyer apparently. I had the same panic when I received mine, but my sol said she'd be more concerned if they were not ticked.

Apparently it just means that they're requesting the courts permission to apply if needed. Does that help?

You both need to state your financial standing.
What you have, what you earn, savings, pensions, assets etc...
It's standard.
Are you OK that he is petitioning?

Thank you, this helps. Wouldn't surprise me if he tries to strip me of cash (not that I have any). Sure he's hidden his.

Should I be worried if he is the petitioner? Separated for some time now.
