As some may know I'm in my very early days of my realisation that I was in an abusive marriage.

Wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it or not and just wondered what others are having thoughts about it.

Causing arguments before nights out was something he did as well as us having the whirlwind romance of pregnancy in the very early stages of the relationship.

It took me 15 years to be brave enough to say enough is enough.

Didn't know this was on, I'm going to watch it on catch up. Thanks

It's very enlightening.

I never realised what was really going on and he still denies doing anything wrong.

Now I'm the one "forcing the separation" etc.

Dragons I hope abusive men who don't think they are abusive will watch it.

I listened to LBC London radio station yesterday and it was talking about giving men the option to one to one counselling or group support.

So many men rang in to say they didn't realise what they were doing until they spoke to other men like them. All of them bar about 3 had their wife/partner leave them and now have good relationships with their DC and new partners.

It's taken me years to realise what was going on. I hope some one out there saw it and realises that you don't need to wait to be slapped or punched to dial 999 for help.

I always felt like I would be wasting their precious time calling to say he was being horrible to us again.

I hope that makes sense.

Sounds like an interesting programme

Has anyone found this on catch up as I'm struggling to find it.

Preece - ITV Hub - I found it searching 'By Day'. It's the Tonight programme that was on at 7.30pm.
