so i have been online dating generally chatting with people having a bit of fun and one profile cropped up a few times a bit of a virtual cuddler he would always call me sweetheart blow virtual kisses etc etc he was a bit but basically your general under the radar guy nothing he said red flagged at all he offered out his number for whatsapp and i nearly added him then for some reason his user name registered with me its my username sort of (not making much sense her i will try to explain)

thats strange right? am i being stalked? ive not added him but ive come out of an EA relationship and im a bit bewildered about how things work this is not normal is it?

I think you need to quietly step away from this one. Even if it's not your ex, it's extremely creepy.

It's probably not even his arm, just a an Internet pic. Or it's his arm at a random angle to make it look better. Or photoshopped.

If they put a pic where you can't really see them, just their eyes, half a face, from behind, sunglasses etc 99% of the time it's because they don't look great. Obviously a lot of Internet dating is about liking a photo. Unfortunately they don't realise that an honest photo would be better in the long run as they may get less hits but they would get people that actually like them for them. The hidden photos mean that you picture someone else in your head and when you see them you are disappointed and a bit creeped out they weren't honest with you.

Thats weird. Also whats app gives him your phone number. For OLD it might be worth doenloading Kik which allows messages and ohotos but does not give your phone number

only been online dating a couple of weeks ive been using kik but i use watsapp for my friends and to be honest i forgot about needing a phone number for it till he gave me his and asked for mine (i have not given him mine nor have i added him on watsapp)

under the radar guy = he literally had no red flags at all no cock shots no asking me for naked pics no fifty messages a day not even a profile pic with his kids in or a badly cropped one with his girlfriend's arm in etc he literally is someone i log in and there is a little hi how are you kind of message he didn't even send that every day apart from the excess kisses on the messages i would not have even thought twice

my first thought was it might be my ex it really doesn't sound like him but he is smart enough to switch behaviour to snag me again to be honest

If you put his number in your phone you can look him up on whatsapp and see what the profile pic is, without him knowing. Why don't you try that? But his username is very creepy, sounds like it could be your ex, or someone with issues..

You could try searching by his number in Facebook. Obviously he may not have his number linked to an account but if it is you'll at least see if he's genuine (if that makes sense!).

Or yes, save the number in your phone and see what WhatsApp info there is on his account.
