We're at the very end of our divorce, deadline is monday, dividing assets, putting utilities in new names etc. Wanker ex dh has just demanded I prove I've done it all as he has no 'proof' I've done anything at all. All utilities are now in my name but it's all online these days. He must have had severence notices from them. & surely it's up to him to make sure he's not paying the gas & electric on a house he no longer lives in? & to top it all off, he needs to clear out his crap from his old bedroom. He's keeping it here like the controlling bastard he is, keeping a toehold in the old house he was forced to leave. It took me a long time to man-up & realise I was being abused & controlled. Now I'm free, I just want to yell 'FFFFUUUUCCCKKKK OOOFFFFF'.

I'm gonna napalm his old bedroom.

OK, if you think he might sabotage something tomorrow, I'd go into the utility accounts online and take a screenshot of the account details and email them to him.

Tell him that you will provide proof when he removes his stuff from your house and btw where does he want the invoice for the storage sent?

I would respond with 'No idea why you are so fussed about that - what you should be fussed about is ALL your stuff which is on the lawn. It might not last another snowfall so perhaps pull your finger out and come and get it. Ciao'. Then chuck his stuff on the lawn, and block his number from your phone. Put the kettle on, and sit down and watch some TV. Call the police if there is any trouble.
