I've just found out from the police that they are going to re-investigate the abuse that happened to me at the hands of my teacher. I have an amazing therapist, but she's away for Christmas until the 14th of December. My head is all over the place, and I feel utterly awful (though I want it to be reinvestigated). I don't have any real life support.

She's away until when?

I'm really sorry you went through that. I know it'll be difficult for you if it goes to court but surely it's better that it does? It sounds as though others have made complaints, too, doesn't it?

I'm not sure really, about others. I think the main reason for it to be reopened is the fact that the current team don't think that some lines of investigation were pursued, and the cps deemed me to be too vulnerable a witness, which I am not any longer.

It's fantastic that they're concerned enough about it to re-open the case and I'm so glad you're not in such a vulnerable position.

Do you have any real life support? Given you were in school at the time, are your parents supportive? I really hope you have someone who can help support you.

No, unfortunately no support in real life. NC with my mum.

I am pleased that the case is being reopened. Just terrified as things are coming to the surface again.
