Tinder emails

Does anyone out there known if Tinder sends out invite emails as spam, for example - an invite to see if you have any "super-likes" which then leads to a page to register for Tinder? Or would you have to already be a user with a profile to receive this type of email? I'm sure you can guess why I am asking and I don't want to create a massive ruckus on Xmas day if this email to my husband could just be spam. On the other hand, trust is running low in our relationship and I don't want to be a mug.
Any thoughts gratefully received.

It certainly sounds like an email to an existing user, I'm sorry to say. I could be wrong though. I hope I am. Xx

My email is spam city, and I have never received one from Tinder: but anything is possible, I guess.

Sorry, OP: I hope it's just spam Wine

I've got a tinder account from when I was single that I don't use and can't recall ever having an email like that

Madness. I get emails from every Tom Dick and Harry and would need to have been a very busy (and strange) man to have participated in every one of those websites. Your details are passed on to a wide variety of companies and are not specific to your browsing habits.

FellOutOfBedTwice · 25/12/2015 13:42

I get a lot of suspicious looking spam but am not dodgy (I promise!) so I think it's probably spam.

karalime · 25/12/2015 13:44

I use tinder and I have never once received an email from them. I say spam.

twirlypoo · 25/12/2015 14:32

Claraoswald36 · 25/12/2015 20:52

HavingAnOffDAy · 25/12/2015 20:56

CalleighDoodle · 25/12/2015 21:45

Ive never had an email from timder either. But this isnt the issue for you is it. Something else is bothering you. Why is trust low?

MissApple · 25/12/2015 21:58

never had email

Thanks all for taking the time to reply, particularly at this time of year. It's true that this is just a symptom of other problems. Don't want to drip feed but it's a very long story! We have had a lot of issues in the past and nearly divorced this year. I think it's taking time to rebuild trust and gain confidence again. We did end up talking about it yesterday and I think it's all ok now but we're going to get some counselling in the new year. Thanks again x

Your welcome op. Hope all is well. Pretty unanimous response from tinder users though Grin
