Marriage counselling

Hello everyone.

Since the birth of DD 18 months ago my marriage has deteriorated. Everything DH does irritates me and I cannot bear to be touched by him.

Has anybody else had this? What helped? DH is such a lovely man but the spark has gone and I dunno what to do

Is there any possibility you may have PND do you think? You mention this started at the same time you had your DD so it just made me think.

Or, is there something particular your H is doing (or not doing) that is upsetting or irritating for you? Is he properly doing his share of parenting and housework?

Quite possibly pocket I did suffer from PND when she was born but seemed a lot better when I went back to work. DH is amazing and more than pulls his weight around the house and with parenting. I think he's struggling with DD and somewhat takes that out on our marriage.

What is he struggling with? Anything in particular?

You said that "everything" he does irritates you, but then you also said he pulls his weight with housework and parenting. That makes it sound like you've just got totally fed up with him - that stage you get to when you know you should leave a relationship because the other person's breathing has you on the cusp of murder every day. Do you feel like you'd be happier on your own?
