My Life has Completely Turned Around!

I can't believe my life at the moment. Six months ago my DP and I were struggling in the UK to the point of using food banks. It got too much and I was working long draining hours. We decided to move back to SA -Cape Town. OMG has my life changed. In three months we are living with his parents who I get along very well with and live like kings. They're very wealthy and used to send us money abroad to get by.

I now have found my absolute dream job which pays exceptionally well even more than I got in th UK even with the currency rates. I can work from home and work, I often take my laptop and sit on the beach and work, it's wonderful. There's a free gym on the beach I use too and waking up to the sound of the sea is amazing.

I've always wanted kids and marriage and thought it would never happen, two nights ago my DP proposed Smile 😍😍😘 We are getting married on the beach and having a BBQ and swimming pool party in the garden. My dad will do a chicken Webber. Do you think that's ok for a wedding or is it too informal?

I can't believe how my life has changed. I'm medicated for anxiety and my DP has medicated controlled bipolar and I never thought anything good would happen to us. It was a risk coming here as I had a life and independence in the UK and I'd never met his parents so we might not have gotten on. It was such a stressful move as we always had to bring our cats and I was so worried we'd make a mistake I never in a million years thought that all my dreams could come true in just three months especially what we went through.

I don't have that many friends and I really wanted to express my happiness to someone hence me writing this. My anxiety has almost gone, just last year the Dr said I wouldn't live to my 35th birthday if I didn't calm down!! That's how bad it was, I'm now 35 with the most awesome job ever and engaged! To anyone who feels like it will never happen or that life has become too much, just keep going, life may surprise you!

I have no idea what a chicken Webber is but I'm delighted for you, and can honestly say I remember the bride and groom's happiness at the weddings I've been to, not the food Wink
