school girl dress up (as fantasy) (probably the wrong place for this)

I found out a while ago that a deceased family member had been looking at indecent images of children (I believe 12 up).

I also found out that he had asked his wife to dress up in a school girl outfit to fulfill his fantasy. Repulsive I know.

It's just made me think about how popularity school girl outfits are as obviously they can be bought from Ann Summers etc. and I've never thought anything of it, even considered buying one myself.

But after the recent revelation it's made me rethink the school girl outfit. Is it not odd if a man requested you to dress up as a school girl? I feel now that ifymy DP asked me to dress up in said costume I'd be curious if he eyes up underage girls and fantasises about them which is just so wrong.

I know I'm only feeling this way because of what I've found out but it's just made me ponder.

Please help me see something so innocent as exactly that, rather than something suspicious and sordid.

I know it's a common thing and if it's clearly a woman dressed in a school uniform not a young girl then I don't think it's not really anything sinister.
Perhaps the fantasy comes from being at school and discovering their sexuality?
Tying to write this has made me think I have no authority to answer and I'm projecting motives to hypothetical men...

Dp and I were chatting about this. We agreed it's abhorrent but I wondered if the idea stems from old st Trinians films? Does it predate that?

I think it possibly come from a fantasy of being the experienced older man seducing and teaching and maybe corrupting the virginal young girl?

So not necessarily underage as such - the uniform is a marker for innocence rather than age?

People often fantasise about early experiences and want to re-create them, although there will be a number going for innocence/virginity.
Although, from a sexual POV, there is not a lot of difference between 18 plus and post-pubescent younger teens, so think they are on dodgy ground.
I would be wary that of anyone who wanted this, unless he was dressed as a schollboy.

We get told schoolgirl equals sexy, for role play / dress ups. So we do it, think it.
I went to a "school disco" (is that still a thing?) in my early 20s. School "uniform" meant short short tight black skirt and very tight white blouse preferably with breasts spilling out. A very revealing outfit that without the tie wouldn't have been 'school' at all.
And I certainly thought I was "sexy" and my boyfriend did too. It was only when I was older that I thought - yuck! But he wasn't a paedophile, we'd just both grown up with this idea of sexy schoolgirl as mainstream role play.

Yes, when I had my wisdom teeth out at the hospital there were definitely no PVC nurses involved and Benny Hill did definitely not show up with the gas and air.

I think school girl / nurse / teacher whatever outfits are often seen as a bit of a giggle. (Think hen nights and the like) and while I don't like to put it down to the fact that "men are just weird" I think a lot if men, do obviously like to see cleavage, short skirts etc, it's just sexy, simple as. I bet half the time the theme of the outfit doesn't even come into it, it's just bum, boobs and legs..
But I do think a lot of women are repulsed by the school girl theme. Personally I think this is due to "barely legal" porn being so prevalent nowadays. Whereas before, i.e pre internet we would just see this as something that is a bit of fun really.. I think when you start to make the connections between harmless dressing up and what you've seen online, I.e teen porn, then it's understandable that it can be considered repulsive. I wouldn't want to dress up as a young girl, if I had an inkling my Oh had been using that kind of porn.
So you could say its harmless fantasy, but I think it depends on your views.

I'm not sure I'd have been happy if he'd asked, let alone gone ahead with it.
I think it's wrong, but just my opinion. I'm sure plenty do it and think it's fine because it isn't real, but to me it crosses a line.

In our 20s I'd say that the school girl thing was about reliving our earliest sexual thoughts but with the experience to actually act on our feelings and if to be good.

I don't know if it stems from those countries like America where they don't leave school til 18/19 so if you were in your last year of high school you'd be legal and you'd be the experienced 'older person' as it were. I think this is the case in Japanese schools too, although not sure.

It's weird IMO. If I had a man ask me to dress up as a school girl they would be ditched so hard their head would spin. I'm now incredibly paranoid when it comes to things like this because I've known a few men who have been convicted for sex offences. I just wouldn't be willing to risk it. Plus I'd find it disturbing, especially as I look younger than my age and could pass for a teenager without make-up on. Bleurgh.

I was asked once, I didn't think it that odd. He was 23 and I actually HAD been a school girl in a uniform 4 months before. At least I didn't have to buy one!

I've never done it but never had an opinion on it until the revelation of my family member. Finding that out has changed my view on a lot of things tbh and now I have a daughter of my own I worry I'll become an overprotective nuisance but I can recall being heckled as a school girl at times and even without uniform but I was evidently underage because although I've always been tall I had zero curves and a very young face, even the way I dressed showed my age. I never thought much at the time, possibly even flattered at my naive age but now as I reflect back I am repulsed and worry for my daughter.
