Is this normal? Struggling to trust my feelings after a long term abusive relationship.

I've had a couple of threads about this guy. I've been seeing him for two months. Initially he made some statements which waved some red flags, but his actions have been nothing but kind, thoughtful and appreciative. I also fancy him like mad, and he seems to feel the same. I have been keeping him at arms length.

He moved in with me for ten days recently, he moved out today. It was always a temporary measure and it was because of my circumstances (isolated, rural, slightly derelict house that I was house-sitting)

I have fallen for him. He's all I think about, I miss him already.

I'm 32 FFS, not 18.

But that heady, swoony, ridiculous thing is there. And I don't trust my judgement.

Is this normal? What should I do?

What were the statements?

What were the red flags?
