Embarrassing orgasm question

I'm a regular but have NC as I feel embarrassed about this.

I have had orgasms but sometimes immediately afterwards or sometimes even during, I don't enjoy it. It is hard to explain. It doesn't happen all the time but maybe 3/10 times. I think it is more the physical feeling - it doesn't hurt in any way, but feels a bit empty and just odd...I can't explain it!

Has anyone else felt this way?

I have felt like that, I know what you mean Or at least I assume it's similar, like an emotionally empty void feeling, which is odd as I'm someone who links sex with emotion IYSWIM.

Just one of those things?

So where this feeling is coming from when generally I'm not more complex than "that feels good" and "this is fun" is a bit odd.

I'm watching this as I also feel the same! I always but it down to a traumatic experience I had when I was a teenager but maybe it's something else?

It's not emotional though I don't think. It feels physical, but definitely empty and void like you say. Though thinking about it I also can feel a bit emotionally detached as well, and i also link sex with emotion very much.

i sometimes feel guilty about sex, not as much as i used to, but sometimes that feeling comes back a bit. maybe that is causing it as well..

Oxytocin release-y type thing gives me a sad, empty, staring into the void feeling.

So it could just be hormonal

Maybe it's not emotional, I'm not sure I have the vocabulary to describe it! It's not like a "bursting into tears" type emotional but more like, an achy empty thing which I would interpret as emotional but yes it's a sort of physical thing too..... Like when you're really happy or sad you can feel it physically like an ache in your chest or whatever - that sort of thing but different. Yep, don't know what words to use to describe it!

maybe just to do with all the chemicals and stuff having a funny effect sometimes.

It seems it's not terribly unusual then, and happens in people who don't have past events around sex and stuff, so maybe that is reassuring?

yes an aching sort of feeling but not painful! that's how i would sum it up actually.

Is it lik a homesick feeling?

I sometimes feel sick and gross and do t want my DH touching me? Or am I feeling something completely different?

I thought this was a normal chemical reaction after an orgasm? Like the body's way of saying you're done and you don't need any more? I don't have any have traumatic or negative sexual past or anything like that.

Sorry, that last sentence makes no sense, but you get what I mean!

My first partner had this, not all the time though, but there were times when it seemed like a bit of a damp squib, or if we were pretty amorous, he would actually find it painful.

I find this too sometimes.
