I've been dating an older guy for a year now and we live separately, we recently went on our first holiday together and he's printed off some photos of us together and put them in frames in his house, also one of me by his bed...do you think this is weird or a nice touch?

I'm getting the feeling he's a bit needy but he says its because hes from the South (Kent) where they treat their ladies nice (whereas Im from the Midlands and used to being treated second best?!)

It isn't a particularly southern trait so much as a nice gesture from a man who is proud to have you as his gf.

Where does 'neediness' come into it? Do you feel he's trying to impress visitors to his home by displaying photos of you and him together because he may not have had many gfs before you?

Why do you see displaying photos as 'needy'? What is he 'needing' from you by doing that?

You've been together a year, and been on holiday together, having photos together sounds quite normal and natural. It sounds like you're uncomfortable with it though, if so it might be worth considering why that is.

I think it's nice, don't understand where needy comes into it tbh & certainly don't get the southern thing-Northerer here & wouldn't expect nor accept being treated as second best.

Depends how many photos he's printed off. If it's a couple, that's nice. If it's a dozen, that's creepy!
