Does every relationship have 'ex' drama?! Every time I've got involved with someone there always seems to be some kind of drama from the ex girlfriends....is this normal?! I don't think I can take it anymore!!

No.
My OH has an ex who lived with him in the house we now live in. The only drama is that we have a table that we use daily, which I think she paid for, and once or twice she's asked for it back... Which OH hasn't because she has some valuable stuff of his.

Not drama, so much as practical complications.

My ex has texted me to ask how I am, to which I reply "OK thank you" end of.

Nope.

In my experience yes! His inability to stand up to his ex made me leave him :(
