Kissing with his eyes open?

Just wondered, what would you make of a man who always kissed with his eyes open? By the time it gets to that point I'm generally ready to 'give in' to the feelings not stare down my partner at point blank range. Yes there is something to be said for a bit of close eye-staring but not the whole time surely. Have been in a clinch with a new man a few times recently & he never closes his eyes, I just find it odd If I open my eyes to peep whilst kissing he's there eyes wide open! Feels weird like he's not really getting into it. However it feels very nice & he doesn't pull away . Never encountered an open- eyed kisser before. Any experiences?

It's weird, isn't it, because if someone makes eye contact during kissing it feels odd, but if they won't keep eye contact during sex, it's off putting!

I don't actually know what DP does. Probably sometimes open and sometimes closed?

Some people close their eyes. Others don't. Neither is right or wrong.

I like both, I think it's nice that DP wants to see me while he's kissing me and looking into his eyes makes me go all wibbly so it works for me, especially when he holds my face as he's doing it. In fact just thinking about it is making me go all weak at the knees.

I wouldn't think it was that odd and certainly doesn't mean he's not into it.

I believe it's am evolutionary thing, the cavemen did it so they can keep and eye out for danger and protect you! Seriously! Also why men instinctively prefer the seat facing out into the restaurant and looking at the door, to keep you safe.

I have done both, but I'm a lady who likes to be in charge of everything! Lol

so if its evolutionary then the ones who keep their eyes open are further back on the evo scale?

or maybe he is just in awe of your beauty and looking at your face adds to his pleasure?

I don't know what my DP is doing .....because I firmly keep my eyes closed.

Sometimes I keep my eyes open. It's not often I get to look at the face of the man I adore so closely, to notice every little thing about him.

My DP does this I found it like you say a bit strange at first but now I think it can be quite intense. And I know it's because he wants to look at me which is a nice feeling. I go between eyes shut and open now having always been a firmly closed girl before.

I don't know what my partner does either. Mine are firmly shut and the kissing is lovely.
I don't keep my eyes open during sex either. I don't want to see a sex face and I get more into it with my peepers shut. So no idea what he is doing there either.

This had made me recall some comment I read, made by a therapist one time, that she recommended people do kiss with their eyes open sometimes to really "see" the person they are with and not just a fantasy in their heads about the other person.

I sometimes keep my eyes open with my current partner as he has the most gorgeous eyes and I like looking at them up close.

Yeah I don't like it. We close our eyes (apparently) when we're kissing because we're feeling more, or at least want to. So for me, keeping your eyes open is cold and unfeeling, not mention just a tad creepy.

My DH does this. I like to close my eyes and enjoy the feeling, he said he likes to keep them open and enjoy looking at me.

He always said I was too beautiful for him to close his eyes.
