WideWebWitch · 27/11/2006 15:48

wanker?

itsrainingagain · 27/11/2006 15:48

So is it easier for a man to be a "fancy man" than a woman to be a "mistress". Like is it frowned apon in the same way?

Not frowned upon enough.

What are the stats. I bet there are more mistresses than fancymen.

Women are so easily suckered...

expatinscotland · 27/11/2006 15:50

A ho

theUrbanDryad · 28/11/2006 09:28

a manstress??

MrsBadger · 28/11/2006 09:31

www is spot on, but it could be 'a bit on the side' or, depending on age gap, perhaps a toyboy or a sugar daddy?

Bananaknickers · 28/11/2006 09:39

tosser

throckenholt · 28/11/2006 09:50

presumably it should be a master ?

CountessDracula · 28/11/2006 09:57

A gigolo surely

MrsJohnCusack · 28/11/2006 09:59

a gigolo

MrsJohnCusack · 28/11/2006 09:59

oops, too slow there

Cappuccino · 28/11/2006 10:05

it's actually 'cicisbeo'

gigolo is a male prostitute I believe, rather than a lover

MrsJohnCusack · 28/11/2006 10:10

it's what?

perhaps we all say gigolo because cicis-whatsit is too hard to say!

serenity · 28/11/2006 10:10

cuckold?

Cappuccino · 28/11/2006 10:12

no a cuckold is a bloke whose wife is having an affair

serenity · 28/11/2006 10:12

Actually maybe not - works as a verb but not a noun

Noun 1. cuckold - a man whose wife committed adultery
hubby, husband, married man - a married man; a woman's partner in marriage
Verb 1. cuckold - be sexually unfaithful to one's partner in marriage; "She cheats on her husband"; "Might her husband be wandering?"
cheat on, wander, betray, cheat
cozen, deceive, delude, lead on - be false to; be dishonest with
two-time - carry on a romantic relationship with two people at the same time
play around, fool around - commit adultery; "he plays around a lot"

serenity · 28/11/2006 10:13

beat me to it!

biglips · 28/11/2006 10:13

whats a stud then?

kiskidee · 28/11/2006 10:14

in the West Indies it is Joe Grind.

Cappuccino · 28/11/2006 10:15

also 'cavalier servente' would do it

dara · 28/11/2006 10:16

Well, surely it depends on the relationship whether or not he's a 'tosser'. If a woman is very unhappy or being hit or psychologically abused, and she finds someone who loves her, is he still a 'tosser'?
