told the kids today, dh isn't going to live with us anymore.

dh moved out last sat, saying he doen't love me anymore, told the kids today that daddy isn't going to live with us anymore. dd1 seems ok as does dd2 shes 3 so doesn't really understand but ds1 who was 9 on friday is heartbroken bless him. feel so angrey with dh. Giong to keep him of school tommorro he has a cold too so said he can have a duvet day and will spoil him, feel so said though hate them having to go through this pain.

Hi Carol3, it is a bit freaky being on your own at night in the house. However you will soon get used to that, in fact I am so used to it now that I prefer it that way. Now I don't have to put up with stupid ex dh's fags, football and general untidiness. Its fantastic . You are going through a grieving process at the moment but you will get through this. The first things I did in the weeks after dh left were 1. Cancel sky sport subscription 2. Take wedding ring off 3. Put away wedding photos 3. Buy some lovely candles and relaxing bath stuff so you can spent an hour or so just chilling out in the evening after the kids are asleep. This may be end of your marriage but it is the first step in an exciting and interesting new life for yourself and the kids.

thank-you so much caroline, I got through the night but difficult at work tonight and sat so not too bad just have to get through friday night, managed to get a few christmas presents this week so may wrap them with a glass or two of wine
