Would you find it strange that your husband had blocked his friends list on facebook so you can’t see it, however you can see mutual friends when you click on them so I can see he is friends with someone people we both know, and when I click on other people he knows but I don’t have on my facebook same again he shows as mutual friends apart from one girl who I know he is friends with as they chat all the time on facebook (old friends)

To me it looks like he has blocked me from seeing they are friends, why would someone do that?

So for this one girl, it does not say you have a mutual friend in your husband?

Yet you are 100% sure they are FB friends?

I don't think you can block someone from seeing an individual friend - unless either one of them have actually blocked you altogether.

Could he or she have a second FB account?

100% sure they are friends, they where talking just the other week on his wall. I can still see the posts now.

If I click on any other old friend he will show up as a mutual friend other than this one, but I can see other mutual friends just not him on hers.

Seems like he or her have gone out of his way to block me seeing it.

not sure about second account, however most of his facebook is locked down and for all his posting I can never see what's going on, it's all very secretive and that's what worries me.

Could it be that since the other week one of them has deleted the other as a friend, and that is why your husband does not show as being a mutual friend when you click on her?

They may not be actual FB friends? Depending on the privacy settings for both of them, they can still post on each other's wall.

Even so, it is strange...

No they are still friends they don't see why they wouldn't be.

un sure if there is history with them, they are all mates from same place all know each other long time etc. She is separated but has kids as far as I know.

They can post on each others wall and message each other without being friends.

If someone has set their friends list to private, they don't show up as a mutual friend.

If they both have their friendlist as private then you don't see them as 'mutual friends'.
