Can anyone recommend any, I saw a link to a pdf one posted on here a while ago but cant find the thread.
I only just started reading it but it seemed to go in depth about all the characters involved OW, in laws etc

Anyone any ideas?

There's a good book: I love you but I'm not in love with you .

There are dozens, you'll find many of them online in print and Kindle under self help and relationships. They can offer some insight but IMO if you want to save the marriage reading can't effectively replace counselling because of the three-way dynamic needed to bring about change and reconciliation.

My own feeling is that books about preventing a split (and I've read a few) are written for and from the point of view of the person who wants to save the relationship. If the other person wants out, they'll get out - whatever their partner says or does to try to stop it, and no book or church workshop can prevent the inevitable. We've all seen that happen, and IMO the only people who really gain in the end are the ones selling you snake oil in the form of a promise to solve your problem which they can't deliver.

I would suggest counselling is the way to go, OP.

Try this one. This is by a very experienced marriage counsellor. He also has stuff online.
