just looking at cards today and realized that all the usual "soppy" cards might not be appropriate this year.on the other hand, although he really hurt me-posted under a different name at the time-,i really do love him.thing is, not sure what card to send! (should i just send a jokey one?)

Can't help I'm afraid - I don't give dh a Christmas card.

Iklboo · 15/11/2006 14:34

Send a Purple Ronnie type one

GoingQuietlyMad · 15/11/2006 14:35

Send a sincere one, you never know how he is feeling as well.

If you still love him.

I hate soppy cards anyway.
There's a great 'Husband' one out this year with a Quentin Blake illustration of a chap in a paper hat carving a turkey that might do the trick as it's funny without being actually jokey and sweet without being soppy.

I like the Quentin Blake ones - have bought a big box for friends.

thanks for all your ideas everyone.
feels funny not sending the usual type though.
don't want him to be hurt either.
(which i know sounds weird considering how he hurt me...!)

thank,Dior. Appreciate the offer. However, if i'm gonna do it, i'll have a go myself. Makes it a bit more personal doesn't it? Thanks for the great idea though.

Cutekids, I'm in similar position and hadn't even thought about cards yet but we also usually send soppy ones. Great idea Dior - going to copy if you don't mind.
