How soon into a new relationship would you introduce your dp and your dcs?

In my head i have 6 months as a bit of a marker. I reckon by that point you know if its going to be a long term thing or not and its a point where both sides should know each other pretty well and would have evaluated the relationship.
I recently went out with a guy who I really hoped was going to be long term as he ticked almost all of the boxes in terms of what I was looking for and started off amazingly, but it fizzled out at about 5 months, so glad had not introduced my kids by that point.
