Have you felt lonely despite having someone in your life?

Have you felt that person you are with doesn't understand you, or doesn't see what you are going through?

Have you tried to explain them your insights and how you feel?
How did they react?

Married 20 years here . The loneliness comes and goes but has been an issue for me quite a lot ,,,, my husband has never been mentioned feeling lonely .. ever ! I assume it’s just a mismatch of personalities ? I have now realised I rely on him much more than I should for my own happiness ,,,, he should add to my happiness not be the key to it !

I know this is a very old thread but I was amused to read a post I'd contributed myself eight years ago in 2015 (!) and would say exactly the same thing today!
