Kissing is one of the best bits of a new relationship.
Can anyone sustain that forever?
I can't

goingquietlymad "or even during sex!"

so true.

someone give me a slap. I am quite blue about the thought of a life bereft of good kisses and romance.

We do but it always leads to sex

Bananaknickers · 14/11/2006 23:12

kissing really turns me on so I must be a bloke

Lizzylou · 14/11/2006 23:18

We do, not that often, sometimes leading to sex, sometimes not...love kissing, but DH not so keen, more often we have lingering "pecks"....that said, we have a date in 2 weeks when IL's are having DS's overnight and are going to watch Casino Royale at the cinema, loking forward to some serious teenage snogging

what about the daytime mumsnetters?
You still big on snogging after years with your partner?

What is it with all of you that say snog = sex, surely that is a good thing? (that you still fancy each other etc)

we kiss passionately quite often, it doesn't always lead to sex because we quite often kiss passionately in places its impossible to have sex, like in the kitchen while im cooking dinner, obviously the kids are around so its not gonna go anywhere but its nice we still do it imo.

Tortington · 15/11/2006 08:28

kissing good to do whilst kids around - initiate by me of course - that way cant go any further - but remains sexy.

when came home from work dh said seriously " we have to talk about money"

i gave sexy kiss - he was slighty annoyed as he was in "i am serious mode" but loved it too - and said gigily "stop it"

heard dd voice from living room (13yo) " YES. STOP IT...tut.....sigh.."

for me its a way of showing him i am still interested - for him this means boyish carry on style moves like arse smacking or boob comments.

when my DH and I were first together we snogged all the time, but then one day we just stopped, and don't seem to have ever started again. In fact, now I feel really self-conscious if I try to snog, so always end up not bothering! We do have lots of closed mouth kisses every day though.

kittylette · 17/11/2006 19:30
