The other day I saw some questionable pictures on boyfriends phone from one girl (gave it me, wasn't snooping) I questioned him immediately and he said it was blokes jokes, but he snatched the phone back off me, went very quiet and then hardly spoke to me all day. Since then I've only spoken to him twice verbally and he's been very angry, not friendly and acting differently.

I think he's guilty of something as his behaviour is different to what it normally is, he's in contact maybe slightly reduced but not very friendly and definitely not loving.

Sorry you are going through this have you been together long? Live together?

Personally I wouldn't believe his excuse.

Who actually does that?
Why would he want friends that do things which may cause problems in his relationship?

OP, unfortunately I think this excuse is used by a lot of people who have things on their phone they shouldn't have. His reaction afterwards says so as well.

I think you need to have another chat with him and tell him you aren't stupid and you want the truth.

No don't live together and been together just short of 3 years.

My gut instinct says he's having some sort of flirty text chat with pictures thrown in, i was actually made to feel like it was all in my head and that there was nothing going on

If it were innocent he'd be falling over himself to show you all the texts, introduce you to the girl, explain it all. But no, he's hiding his phone and being nasty to you. What a bastard.

I actually know who the girl is and she has a DH and children, the texts are deleted, but the call log was there to see.....

Then you need to confront him sadly.

I did there and then and got a load of bullshit and silence, since then behaviour tells me something different, so I'm going to confront again and not be so stupid this time
