It was for the best. We hardly spent any time together anymore and if I asked I was called clingy and told I don't like him being with his mates. I've been unhappy for a about 2 months now.

I love him so much but I'm too old to be in an unhappy relationship. I miss him already and it's literally only been 2 hours but really trying not to call him to take it back.

He has some stuff here. He wanted to collect it today I couldn't face him so will meet in the week. I'm so sad

Thanks I hope it's for the best. When we first got together we were inseparable went out done stuff had so much fun. It's kind of fizzled out.i knew I had to end it as every time he pissed me off my first thought was "I don't even want to be with you" I still love him though which is what makes it harder. I just don't feel important to him.

He just messaged me "are you okay?"

I feel exactly the same about my DP. He just totally annoys me & i feel stressed around him. Like you it was amazing to start with, so much attention, lovely texts, great sex but it's fizzling out for me too and it's breaking my heart. I admire your courage! It's up to you whether to return text: do you think it would be better for you to cut all contact? It's the only way i would cope!
