All of these women made huge but basic mistakes in their judgement but their lives have been pretty much ruined by these mistakes. This is why women are advised to stay in the country they want to raise their children in at all costs.

Reading these tragedies, it seems that going to a sperm bank would be a saner option for women who wish to see the world and have children.

Particularly interesting was the case where the woman was told that after 6 weeks in New Zealand her children were no longer habitual residents of the UK but that she apparently still was Courts make shit up as they go along to create maximum suffering for mothers. How else can such an inconsistency be explained? One residency rule for children and a completely different one for the mother..

That is absolutely horrific. Is there nothing that can be done to challenge this? It's basically legalising kidnapping.

I read this at breakfast and was . The NZ case was madness - the children were basically there on a visit to see their dad. Heartbreaking.
