ok, this is hurting to post but its not on a whim. to cut a 22 year relationship short-we have basic mutual respect for each other but am not sure this is enough 5 take us through the next 20 years wwyd

Well, if you read any of the threads, you'll see that an affair isn't the way to solve your problems, it will simply cause a lot of pain.

Can you say more about what the problems are? Have you thought about ending the realationship and being by yourself for a while?
