IPad Air. Send delete, receive delete. Any way to retrieve the deleted emails?

Just that really. If someone sends an email, deletes it and then goes into the delete folder and deletes it agipain is there any way to view the emails?

Has email been sent from an app or from the Safari/other browser? If sent from an app, which one?
