Hi Ladies.

I gave birth to a lovely baby girl 10 weeks ago, the baby is perfect and I could not be happier. The dad is totally in love with the baby, and less in love with me ( well thats how i feel), i dont get that much affection, and I dont feel like he looks at me in the same way. anyone else gone through this? is it too soon for our relationship to pick up again? i have put on weight and not looking my best at the moment, plus my mood is terrible due to lack of sleep

Firstly, congratulations on your new baby!

It is possible that you're taking things to heart because of hormones and obviously you're not feeling your best right now. This is still very early days, everyone is learning how to be a family and find their feet a little bit. That said, it's important not to just become mummy and daddy, you are a couple as well. Have you spoken to him about how you feel?
