TODAY...FRIDAY THE 10TH APRIL 2015 IS A FUCKING FANTASTIC DAY...

My 'take no shit' solicitor emailed me my final copy of my divorce papers. I have been waiting 489 days for these bad boys!
Its real...its actually real now!
Very soon, I will no longer be 'Mrs Dickhead', my post will longer remind me of the past life. my doctors will call me by my maiden name. I will no longer reply 'seperated' when asked if I'm single...

soon...oh yes, very soon (due to the fact that dickhewad can't afford a solicitor due to his monumental drinking habit)...

I WILL BE DIVORCED.

Woohoo, well done. Now get out there and enjoy the life you deserve!

ScarlettInSpace · 11/04/2015 00:12

Congrats!

Just to let you know, you can change your name back to your maiden name whenever you like by deedpoll, no need to wait for divorce papers, they don't mean anything wrt to your name I'm afraid!

I was really pissed off to find out I didn't just get my maiden name back when my divorce went through...

It's only about twenty quid online though Wink but it's painful PAYING to get your own name back!!
