Postman - embarrassing situation

I had a package delivered this morning, that I signed for, from a well known website which sells 'adult products'.
The postman has been delivering to me for a few years and we generally exchange small talk. I noticed this morning he looked a little 'embarrassed' as I was signing...
When I brought my package into the house I saw that the parcel was ripped (as if torn on machinery) and the packaging which was showing left very little to the imagination ! Blush
How on earth do I face this lovely (near retirement) chap again Confused

OMG this has just reminded me of the time I was cleaning in a customers house. The window cleaner had rung the doorbell but 1) I had just left the door unanswered as I was there to clean and 2) I had no idea the customer used a window cleaner and the window cleaner was now cleaning the windows.

I went for a wee with the door open as I was alone in the house. I realised I had started my period without warning so was doing a kind of waddle whilst bunching up a load of toilet paper as I needed to get to my handbag for sanpro. Looked up at some point and realised the window cleaner was cleaning an upstairs window and had a straight view of me, bare of arse, knickers down, stuffing toilet paper in my pants. It was the most humiliating thing ever AND I had to have a conversation with him afterwards to say there was no payment left out for him.

I still remember it clear as day and it was about 20 years ago! Blush

Selfloathing jeez so much hatred, what's up with you?
I'm a total prude in public and felt embarrassed when my neighbour caught me snogging my husband, so yes I would be squeamish too if my postman (who I stop and have chats with) saw a vibrator delivered to me.
If you have nothing nice to say, whu say anything at all?

TheReluctantCountess · 10/04/2015 13:29

Sebsmummy that is hilarious!

pocketsaviour · 10/04/2015 13:34

DustyMaiden brilliant!

NoImSpartacus · 10/04/2015 15:59

Wouldn't embarrass me at all. Embarrassing would be going out with your skirt tucked in your big knickers, not ordering a vibrator. You're a grown woman.

pinkfrocks · 10/04/2015 16:31

Are you for real?

I'm shocked that so much was on show from the packaging. Usually - from what I have heard! - it's all plain brown paper and black boxes with nothing on show at all.

Bit puzzled why this is in Relationships unless OP and postie are really close.

:Greta: My thoughts exactly .... apt name though
