Not after advice. Just sounding out.

me and my partner have a 23 year age gap. I love him dearly. I'm smitten.

we've been together two years. we've been to a party Tonight of his friends.

mentioned we had been house hunting and one of his friends wife's said well one of you needs money.

I smiled and walked off and went for a cry in the toilets.

Yes he has a well paid job but if I wanted a sugar daddy it wouldn't be him. plus i brought my house in my teens and I've always worked so never asked for his money.

I know this is random and I know this is how people will see us from time to time bit it hurt.

I do well without him. I'm with him because I lovee him

I want to say things but because it's his friends I bite my lip out of respect for him.
