Anyone savy with Android/google phones?

So basically when you install an app on your google phone it appears on your google account as "my apps".

If you delete the app, does it still show on there or does it disappear once the app is deleted?

DP downloaded a questionable app on his work android phone not realising it would show up on his google account. I had it out with him and he apologised and said he'd delete it. However I've just had a nosy and it's still showing on his google account. He leaves his phone at work (naturally!) so I have no way of checking the actual phone to see if it's still on there.

It will appear on the apps list even after uninstalled, but you can delete it from the list after uninstalling.

Ok thanks, is there anyway of knowing if it has been uninstalled from the phone?

what version of Android are the phones running? Im on 5.0 and when I go into My Apps they are separated into "All" and "Installed". If it's on the Installed list, then it's on the phone (or one of his phones).

I don't think previous versions of Android showed this distinction though. In which case there's no way of telling without the handset.

What app is it? i hate how theres all these apps these says. I only just found out theres 'invisible' ones that store secret contacts/messages and ones for pics/videos. You can even get flirting apps disguised as a clock! not good.

Do you realise you can also check his Google search history from his Google account? I realise this may open a whole new can of worms but it gave me the answers I needed.

and to add to what the previous poster said you can track their phone! its all recorded in the Google account. Google "Google location history" log into their account and hey presto! my DH friend told us about it.. we found it quite strange that it tracks your every move without your knowledge but it could be a useful tool if needed!
