I wanted to say this on fb but felt some anonymity was best.

Yes today is a special day but I want people to think of those ppl who can't have kids or who have lost theirs or even lost their mums.
I don't have kids and would love them but I doubt I will, so I find today difficult but I have a mum but I also know shell be missing my nan today.

Today can be a very traumatic day for some people you are right . I always think of my friends mum on this day. Her daughter died age 21 and so today is always painful.
Thank you for reminding us that there are others out there who need our thoughts on days like today.

I just wanted to get ppl to think , I know on average this site is full of mums but you don't have to give birth to be a mum
I felt like a mum in a funny way to my ex bf girl , I'd do mum stuff I could with her.

But we split up , still see pictures of her though.

Note to self stay of fb today

Mothers Day really appears to surface all kinds of emotions, I didnt realise to be honest. My mother is a narcissist and out of my life for the benefit of me & my children. I admit ive spent alot of time and tears grieving for the mum I never had but not anymore. My glass is always half full these days. At 19 I got told I couldn't have children and yet ive been blessed with three and I do know how fortunate I am x
