I finally found the courage to tell him enough is enough. Wondering where the best place is to get advice on money, how much help I can get etc? There isn't really enough to go round so need all the advice I can get.

Thanks for all the support over the last months. I know it has taken me far too long, but I finally got there!

Well done taking control. Regards help, context is everything. Are you married? In a partnership? Renting? Joint ownership? Children? Is the split amicable or is there any DV involved? ... If you're married, legal advice is important. CAB can be useful. There is a good website www.turn2us.org.uk that can give you ideas on various benefits that could be available to you.

If you google Citizens Advice Divorce, they have several useful guides on various aspects of the process (or Citizens Advice Separation if you are not married).

So glad you have called time at last, snowflake .

Thank you, I will look at both websites.
