Adapt to chronic mistrust and suspicion
Watch your self-esteem sink without trace
Expect them to cheat again because they know they can get away with it.

Intense couples counselling initiated by the cheat
Full commitment from the cheat to changing attitude/ behaviour/habits/location/job/whatever it takes consistently for many years in order to restore trust
