Best online dating sites to meet women?

I'm bi, and planning my return to the world of dating after a long time away. At a loss to know which ol dating site to join that is good for bi/ lesbian women?

Do any mn'ers have any recommendations? I was thinking Guardian Soulmates, but heard it doesn't have many women who id as gay or bi, so possibly not? Hated POF when I used it years ago.

I am in a similar position. I've been looking at Soulmates, its looking quite good for the New Year, some new members :) But thats in London. Might be less members elsewhere i guess.

Theres Datch (like Tinder & Grindr but for lesbians) but i havent tried it.

I'm straight but I've done a fair amount of OLD.

I would suggest that you don't limit yourself to one site. OLD is hard enough if you are straight woman and if you are in a minority group, it will be even harder.

I would try OK Cupid and give POF another go - simply because they are free, they have A LOT of traffic. And OLD is a numbers game. Sure you'll have to weed through some crap, but there are a lot more proportionally live profiles than on ones like Match.

Other than that, I don't know I'm afraid - in terms of specialist LGBi dating sites, totally beyond my knowledge.

There used to be a site called pink sofa when I was on the market. Gives you a free trial then you have to pay but there was live chat, strict rules etc. Met some nice friendly people although no dates arose.

www.pinksofa.com

It had only just started when I joined so I don't know what it's like now. Good luck :)

Dattch, pof, maybe Brenda. Even Tinder seems okay.

I find the sites that used to be popular such as gaydargirls and pink sofa are barely used now.
